The views of Mr. Buck are his own, and not necessarily those of any organization with which he is or has been affiliated.  His long-term interest in politics, however, is evident.

Some thirty years ago Pitman Buck, Jr. was a member of the United Nations Association of America and later a director of the Gulf Coast Council on Foreign Affairs.  As a delegate to the National Conference on Great Decisions in United States Foreign Policy (Washington D.C., 1975), he testified before the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations on the topic “Persian Gulf Oil and the Changing World Economy.”

He is listed in Who’s Who In America.  Mr. Buck lives in Texas City, Texas, and before his retirement in 1984 he worked for twenty-five years as a technician with a leading chemical firm, with a special interest in the fields of mass spectrometry and infrared spectroscopy.
